Though Hope, Indiana is often cited as place of birth for Albert Levering, his family had relocated to Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana a few years before his birth.--Dirk P Broer 11:41, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

The frontispiece for Mollie and the Unwiseman is signed in clear block letters "ALBERT LEVERING". But he may have used other signatures or logos too.
